Fire breaks out at apartment in northern India, two injured

A fire broke out at an apartment in northern India’s Delhi, leaving two people with minor injuries.

This incident happened at Sector 14, Milansar apartment  of Hari Nagar Sports Complex on April 27.

Visuals showed the fire inside the apartment. The fire brigade officials arrived at the spot and conducted rescue operations to save those who were trapped inside. The officials were seen using a ladder to help the victims come down the burning building from where smoke emanated. The victims were seen with burn injuries to their hands and legs after they were treated at a hospital.

The fire broke out in the kitchen of the duplex building and the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials rescued two people who suffered minor injuries.
Divisional officer Atul Garg, speaking to Newslions, stated that six fire tenders were dispatched to the Sector 14 area following a call reporting the incident at 6:02 am. “Two individuals sustained injuries amounting to 10 percent, and a firefighter was also injured during the three-hour-long rescue operation,” the official elaborated.

“All the injured parties were promptly transported to a nearby hospital,” the official continued, noting that the fire had erupted in a residential building. “We are currently investigating the cause of the fire, and further inquiries are ongoing,” the official concluded.
